Assembler

About the Role

Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment, you will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble machinery.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to meet Quality Standards
• Proficiently use equipment required by the job function
• Adhere to safety, quality, inventory, and production guidelines
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor or Group Lead
• Assemble equipment for final operation
• Perform troubleshooting as required
• Explore methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production or precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, and understand fractions and decimals)
• Ability to read and understand both written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read basic prints/schematics
• Ability to read and use a tape measure, rule, and square to fit parts and assemblies
