Assembler
We're seeking a Microelectronics Assembler to join our production team in a hands-on role supporting the assembly and testing of advanced electronic products and systems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read, interpret, and follow assembly procedures, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
- Work with components ranging from microscopic to larger assemblies, often requiring visual magnification.
- Operate hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, and screwdrivers.
- Accurately enter and maintain production-related data and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality control requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task completion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong work ethic with a proven record of reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
- Must be eligible to obtain an Interim Security Clearance.
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or microelectronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and electronic test equipment.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards, or willingness to learn.
- Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Soldering experience.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Schedule
This is a contract position based in Chelmsford, MA. The role is fully onsite.
