Assembler (2nd Shift)

About the role

Assemble sub-assemblies and products such as Power Distribution Units, Remote Power Panels, Static Transfer Switches, Transformers, Tap Off Boxes, and Busway systems following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Build, inspect, and adjust assemblies using heavy industrial equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Conduct visual and quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and health regulations.
• Use fixtures, gauges, and tools for precise assembly and repair.
• Contribute to process and safety improvements and maintain proper equipment calibration.
• Perform housekeeping duties following 5S principles.

Requirements

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, SOPs, and bills of material.
• Experience in electrical assembly, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and using cranes after training.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, machines, and repetitive tasks.
• Willing to work overtime and adapt to different work areas as needed.
