Assembler 2nd shift

About the role

Assembling plumbing systems and fixtures (spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.) in a fast-paced production environment. This is a 2nd shift position with temp-to-hire potential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures including spouts, valves, and showerheads
• Inspect finished components during assembly to conform to quality standards
• Follow instructions and locate parts on Pick Tickets
• Notify team leader of quality variances and parts shortages
• Operate hand tools and push carts
• Efficiently pick parts orders for final assembly, ensuring correct number and type of part is obtained
• Carry or transport orders to different staging areas utilizing material handling equipment
• Read and count accurately, perform simple math, write legibly
• Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and occasionally retrieve order information
• Perform corrective maintenance on water systems such as valves and blow-offs

• Adaptability and flexibility when encountering problems
• Ability to communicate discrepancies to team leader and solve problems, implementing solutions
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment
• Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence

Pay

$20.00 per hour (Temp/Temp-to-Hire)

Schedule

2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM – 11:00 PM
