Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
- May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Requirements
- High School diploma and 2 years of additional education and/or assembler experience.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to perform a two-person lift in accordance with MIL-STD-1472.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours occasionally to meet deadlines.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $41,300.00 – $68,900.00. Northrop Grumman considers factors such as position scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions when determining base salary offers. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company performance.
