Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: MRP experience a plus.
- Skills: Blueprint reading – Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions; Tool proficiency – Skilled with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic machinery; Measurement skills – Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precision.
- Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts), walk between workstations or production areas, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed, lift and carry materials (commonly 25–50 lbs.), push/pull carts or equipment, handle small parts with precision, strong hand-eye coordination, ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly, fine motor skills for small or detailed components, perform repetitive assembly tasks, maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
