Assembler - 1st Shift

About the Role

An assembler on the first shift responsible for fitting sheet metal parts to assemblies using fixtures, hand tools, and power tools to meet customer specifications. The role involves pre-assembling parts with resistance spot welding, performing brazing, and ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained. Completing paperwork and checklists is essential.

Responsibilities

• Fit sheet metal parts to assemblies using fixtures, hand tools, and power tools
• Pre-assemble parts with resistance spot welding

• Adhere to export control laws

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work effectively in small teams
• Proficiency in reading instructions and safety procedures
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Compliance with attendance standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, brazing, or welding

Schedule

Full-time, on-site schedule with every other Friday off.
