About the role

The Assembler is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using a measuring device. This position is located in Chehalis, WA.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; notify the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout the process.
• Verify size, color, customer, and configuration (hardware) according to the labeling system.
• Ensure standard work adherence.
• Apply labels to frame upon completion.
• Sequence into rack for next step (screen rolling).
• Cross-train to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
• Attend work on time and for scheduled hours each day.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Pay

$18.00 - $23.40 per hour
