Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
• Gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by ensuring correct fit and securing parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• MRP (Material Requirements Planning) experience is a plus.
• Skills: Basic mathematical skills, ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints, strong attention to detail, ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, dependable and safety conscious.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts).
• Walk between workstations or production areas.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Lift and carry materials commonly up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull carts or equipment.
• Handle small parts with precision.
• Use hand and power tools repeatedly.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
