Assembler 1 - 2nd Shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low‑rise non‑residential buildings in North America. Headquartered in Cary, N.C., the company serves residential and commercial customers across new construction and Repair & Remodel markets with products such as vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems and metal accessories. The position is located at 7 Ledgewood Blvd, North Dartmouth, MA 02747.

Pay & Schedule

Base pay starts at $17.75 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday‑Thursday, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts or pieces according to blueprints or schematics.
• Verify correct quantities of components and perform quality checks on completed items.
• Manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products.
• Perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail.
• Identify and segregate non‑conforming product.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers.
• Train other/new associates.
• Lift up to 50 pounds continually (above shoulder height and below the waist).
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Assemble and fabricate product using company‑supplied hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with staple guns, drills, etc. preferred.
• Ability to bend and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually (above shoulder height and below the waist).
