Aspiring Educators Wanted! Get Classroom Experience in TK - 3rd Grade Classrooms
Science Education
Leveraging the natural curiosity and creativity of elementary school-aged children, we bring "cool" hands-on experiments to the classroom. - Lead hands-on experiments and activities in a local classroom during the school day
- Work with small groups of 6-8 students
- Guide children's thought processes and investigations using directed questions
- Engage children in exploring science concepts through hands-on experimentation
Requirements
Volunteer groups consist of engineers and scientists (1 adult per 8 children). No prior teaching experience is necessary, but a passion for science and a desire to inspire young minds is essential.
