Asphalt Screed Operator - Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

Responsible for operating asphalt machinery to prepare surfaces for paving.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt machinery such as screeds, rollers, and pavers.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of asphalt mixing and laying techniques.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using heavy construction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating asphalt machinery.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
