Asphalt Quality Manager - P.E
Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Asphalt Quality Manager - P.E to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of asphalt production, ensuring quality and compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other applicable standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures in accordance with industry best practices.
- Cookordinate and supervise the activities of the quality control team, providing training and guidance as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in quality across all operations.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable testing results.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality control activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E) license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt production, quality control, and operations.
- Extensive knowledge of NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
- Proven experience managing a quality control team, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
