Asphalt Plant Ground Crew Member

About the role

C.R. Jackson is hiring a Ground Crew Member to work at our asphalt plant. In this role, you’ll help keep the plant running smoothly by doing hands-on work like cleaning, moving materials, and assisting with maintenance. You’ll work outdoors, use tools, and support the plant team to ensure we produce high-quality asphalt.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain plant work areas
• Assist with loading materials and keeping the site organized
• Help plant operators and mechanics with daily tasks
• Use hand and power tools to complete basic labor tasks
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times
• Be ready to work on weekends and nights when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Experience in construction or plant work (a plus, but not required)
• Able to lift 50–80 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
