Responsibilities

• Operate paving equipment such as pavers, rollers (breakdown, finish), screeds, and other asphalt-related machinery.
• Absorb asphalt and ensure smooth, durable, and properly graded surfaces for various projects like roads, highways, and parking lots.
• Maintain consistent flow and quality of asphalt during paving operations.
• Ensure smooth and level pavement through proper machine adjustments.
• Communicate clearly with the paving crew, foreman, and truck drivers to maintain workflow.
• Report equipment malfunctions or damage immediately.
• Follow project plans, grades, and specifications.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• 3 years of paving or concrete experience (Required)
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time (Required)
• Ability to commute to job location
• Pass a drug test at all times
• Ability to actively talk, hear, and stay physically active all day
• Able to lift and move items up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, extreme weather conditions, and loud noise levels
