Asphalt Maintenance of Traffic Supervisor
About the role
The Maintenance of Traffic Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in flagging traffic and directing motorists through construction workzones based on the specific demands of the traffic control plan for the job. May perform other related traffic control duties.
Responsibilities
- Motion requirements: bending, hammering, stooping, pushing, pulling, squatting, throwing
- Lifting capacity: up to 25 pounds
- Work activities: walking, standing, driving to and from job sites
- Tools used: hand shovel, axe, brush hook, grade rod, sledge hammer, pick, mattock, post hole diggers
- Environmental conditions: exposure to extremes of hot or cold weather
- Overtime requirement
Requirements
- State of Florida Advanced Training for Worksite Traffic Supervisor certification
- At least 1-3 years of experience as an MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) Supervisor/Foreman in highway construction
