About the role
We are hiring for an ASL Employee Development Specialist/PAHrtners Deaf Services position at RHA Health Services. This is a Regular Full-Time position located in Glenside.
Job Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used towards advanced training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or coursework.
- Collaborates with other staff to assess the training needs of staff at all levels within the facility.
- Prepares written reports and provides for testing of employees enrolled in courses.
- Ensures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required.
- Provides training and coordinates training for all staff.
- Identifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years’ experience working in IDD.
