About the role
The Superior Court of Los Angeles County seeks a Court Interpreter - American Sign Language (ASL) to perform a wide variety of ASL interpretation services, in person or via remote videoconferencing, for hearing-impaired jurors in non-courtroom settings, such as orientation and jury deliberation, as well as provide language access services to deaf and/or hard-of-hearing persons as mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
This position is not eligible for telework.

Requirements
To qualify, you must meet the following requirement at the time of application:
- Possession of a valid certificate as a "Certified Court Interpreter" for American Sign Language (ASL) issued by the Judicial Council of California on behalf of the State of California.

Pay
Full-time (A-Status): $8,373.18 - $8,603.36 Monthly
Part-time (C-Status): $366.38 Daily
Hourly as needed (F-Status): $45.80 Hourly
