ASIC Verification Engineer - New College Grad 2026

NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding ASIC Verification Engineer to verify the design and implementation of the world’s leading SoC's and GPU's. Responsibilities

As a Verification Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for verifying the design, architecture and micro-architecture using advanced verification methodologies. Specific responsibilities include:

• Defining the verification scope, and contributing to the development of the verification infrastructure for memory subsystem units
• Verifying firmware code, with specific attention on verifying hardware/firmware interactions
• Collaborating with architects, designers, software engineers across sites to accomplish your goals

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience, and have knowledge in:

• Verification methodology, creating reusable verification components
• Verification using random stimulus along with functional coverage and assertion-based verification methodologies
• Object Oriented Programming with SystemVerilog
• Design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB), and methodologies (UVM or equivalent)

You should also have a passion for debugging and strong problem solving skills.

Qualifications

Prior verification experience related to high speed IO protocols, or memory coherence is a big plus. Additionally, experience with:

• Debugging embedded firmware code (C or RISCV Assembly)
• Embedded microcontrollers and/or RISCV Architecture
• Writing verification plans
• A strong verification mindset and intuition

Pay

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 100,000 USD - 166,750 USD for Level 1, and 116,000 USD - 189,750 USD for Level 2. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
