ASIC/RTL Design Engineer

TekWissen is a global workforce management provider offering strategic talent solutions to clients worldwide. This role supports an American multinational semiconductor company that develops computer processors, flash memories, graphics processors, motherboard chip sets, and components for consumer electronics.

About the role

The work will expose the designer to a number of IP including ARM cores, Ethernet, DDR, DMA, PCIE, SATA, and AMD internal IPs. Successful candidates will lead and participate in the design of leading-edge SoCs in advanced digital CMOS processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to chip definition, architecture development, and modeling
• Develop micro-architectural specifications
• Convert micro-architectural specifications to logic implementation
• Verification, emulation, debug, synthesis, and timing closure
• Interface with physical execution, software, and silicon bring-up teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ASIC/RTL design
• Hands-on experience with industry ASIC design flow including RTL coding, debugging/verification, and supporting synthesis and timing closure
• Working knowledge of ARM cores and other I/O standard interfaces
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Good organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Strong initiative and discipline to follow through
• Technical leadership capabilities
