Responsibilities

• Kitchen Manager: Oversees daily operations of the Senior Nutrition Program kitchen, ensuring safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals for home-delivered and congregate dining participants.
• Program Services Specialist: Assists with all SCS programs, including information and referral, customer eligibility screening, and customer outreach, focusing on the New Hope Homelessness Program.
• Toddler Teacher: Provides a safe and supervised educational setting for children, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and encouraging parent involvement.
• Head Start Teacher: Creates individual goals for children, provides continuous assessment, and facilitates transition into kindergarten.
• Head Start Assistant Teacher: Assists the teacher in promoting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development and encourages parent engagement.
• Head Start Kitchen Help / Cook: Assists in efficient kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality meals and adherence to nutrition standards.
• Head Start Classroom Aide: Assists the classroom teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate practices based on approved curricula.
• Director of Human Resources: Manages personnel management, communication, and implementation of personnel policies and practices, and assists program directors with employee relations.
• Meals on Wheels Drivers: Delivers meals to seniors in designated areas, requiring a reliable vehicle, insurance, and background checks.
• Homemaker: Performs light housekeeping tasks in accordance with the Homemaker service.
• WIC Health Professional: Provides nutrition education and counseling to clients and programs of the Ashtabula County Community Action Agency.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist: Inspires and supports lifelong healthy eating and activity choices for individuals and residents of Ashtabula County through nutrition education and counseling.
• Insulation Technician: Conducts weatherization measures, repairs, and installs materials to make customer homes safe and energy efficient.
