Responsibilities
- Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to safety, food safety, quality procedures, and GMPs, including the use of required PPE.
- Production Efficiency: Review production schedules to guarantee accurate equipment setups and material availability, maximizing overall efficiency.
- Quality Control: Oversee essential quality checks, such as packing integrity, transversal seal, longitudinal seal, dye test, organoleptic test, and paper splice.
- Machine Operation and Maintenance: Supervise setup, CIP, COP, monitoring, and operation of aseptic filling machines. Ensure equipment is well-maintained, identifying and reporting any mechanical problems to the maintenance team.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Oversee all functions related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment and the work area to meet industry standards.
- Training and Shift Handoff: Manage the aseptic operator training program, ensuring operators are well-trained and competent. Facilitate proper shift handoff between outgoing and oncoming operators.
- Documentation and Inspections: Complete production inspections, checks, and paperwork in a professional manner, adhering to established standards.
- Flexible Schedule: Work with a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekend shifts, to meet production demands.
- Process Standardization: Standardize processes, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions for aseptic operations across all locations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document best practices, ensuring consistency and alignment with industry standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of manufacturing experience or working in a production environment.
- Able to read and write.
- Clear background check and drug screen, if applicable.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
