About the Role
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Use your knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
