Help Shine a Light on Local Creativity
Just Add Creative is seeking an Artist Storyteller to help us celebrate and share the creativity that exists throughout our community in Palm Beach County. This flexible volunteer role involves interviewing local artists and helping tell their stories through our website, social media channels, and community outreach.
Time Commitment
Flexible — approximately 4–8 hours per month
Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with local artists, makers, and creatives
- Conduct artist interviews (written, video, or both)
- Gather photos, artwork samples, and artist information
- Create engaging Artist Spotlight features for JAC's website and social media
- Help celebrate the diverse creative voices in our community
- Cook up with JAC volunteers to publish and promote spotlights
Ideal For Someone Who...
- Loves talking with people and hearing their stories
- Enjoys writing, interviewing, photography, or video creation
- Has an interest in art, creativity, and community building
- Wants a flexible volunteer opportunity that can be done largely on their own schedule
- Enjoys social media, storytelling, or content creation
Skills Helpful (But Not Required)
- Writing and editing
- Photography or videography
- Social media experience
- Canva, Google Workspace, or basic website skills
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for local artists
