Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes to customer specifications.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of decorated cakes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the decorating area.
• Collaborate with team members on special orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Stay updated on cake decorating trends and techniques.
• Create preliminary cake designs, including drawings or other mockups for approval.
• Decorate cakes and other pastries with a variety of tools and ingredients.
• Prepare cake batters, fillings, icings and other necessary cake components.
• Sculpt cakes into intricate shapes and forms.
• Collaborate with chefs, bakers and other team members to ensure the quality and visual appeal of the final product.
• Order necessary supplies and manage tool and ingredient inventory.
• Keep workspaces and equipment clean and sanitary.

Experience And Qualifications

• Experience in 3D cake decorating and design.
• Strong attention to details and artistic skills.
• Ability to work with various decorating tools and techniques.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
