About the role
The new AI in Medicine Research Center (AIMRC) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking candidates with an MD or PhD at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor with a focus in applied Artificial Intelligence. The primary role of this position will be to lead an independent research program with a focus on developing and implementing AI-based basic, clinical or translational applications. Successful candidates will have requisite skills to initiate and engage in collaborative research.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and lead an independent research program focusing on AI applications in medicine.
- Collaborate with clinicians, investigators, and AI experts across multiple departments.
- Engage in interdisciplinary research projects to advance the field of applied AI in medicine.
Requirements
- A MD or PhD degree.
- Requisite skills to initiate and engage in collaborative research.
- Experience in developing and implementing AI-based applications in medicine.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications

- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $71,094 - $450,008, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include bonuses, profit sharing, and other incentive programs.
