Indiana Tech invites applications for a full-time faculty member in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join the Talwar College of Engineering and Computer Sciences. Responsibilities

• Teach in both face-to-face and online formats
• Develop new courses and programs and enhance existing curricula
• Advise and mentor students
• Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts
• Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities
• Maintain academic records
• Support accreditation and assessment activities
• Contribute to ABET-related data collection and continuous improvement initiatives
• Engage in professional development and service activities that support the mission and strategic priorities of both the College and the University

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related field; a terminal degree is preferred
• College-level teaching experience
• Online teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences through strong written and oral communication skills
• Industry experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, software development, data science, cybersecurity, or related fields is highly valued, particularly for candidates seeking appointment as a Professor of Practice

Skills

• Expertise in artificial intelligence and related disciplines, including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, foundation models, large language models, and emerging AI methodologies
• Ability to teach across multiple programs, including artificial intelligence, computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, and information systems
