Art Therapist - Part time

Essential Functions

  • Develops and delivers creative art therapy to assigned individuals, groups or families.
  • Provides comprehensive art therapy assessment and treatment through active art making, creative processes, applied psychological theory, etc. to assist admitted patients in meeting treatment goals.
  • Assesses the patient to determine psychosocial, developmental needs.
  • Facilitates expressive therapy-based education and adaptive coping strategies for patients.

Experience Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in clinical-pediatric healthcare/behavioral health.

Education Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Art Therapy.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Basic Life Support HeartSaver & First Aid American Heart Association Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-Provisional) licensure.
  • Preferred: ATR certification.
  • Preferred: Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Crisis Prevention Institute.
