Full-time position located in Montgomery.

Pay

$76,608.00 – $99,105.00 per year, with potential growth to $120,814.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide art therapy services to children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities in a residential treatment setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using art therapy techniques.
• Conduct assessments and evaluate progress through creative expression.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and educators, to integrate art therapy into overall treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate group and individual art therapy sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy from a program accredited by the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) or equivalent.
• Certification as an Art Therapist (ATR) or eligible for registration within one year of hire.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances, and behavioral disorders.
• Strong understanding of art therapy theories, techniques, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
