Key Responsibilities
- Foster a structured and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to take creative risks and express their individuality.
- Create dynamic art experiences by designing or implementing backward-planned curricula that teach students foundational and advanced art techniques, principles, and history.
- Guide students in drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and other mediums while encouraging thoughtful artistic exploration.
- Teach and advise an advisory, which typically meets daily, serving as the primary point of contact for families.
- Cultivate creativity by inspiring students to develop original works that reflect their unique perspectives and creative visions.
- Organize showcases, exhibitions, or portfolios to highlight and celebrate student achievements in the arts.
- Use data and assessments to refine instruction and support student growth in artistic proficiency and conceptual understanding.

- Passion for Art Education: Deep understanding and enthusiasm for teaching art and inspiring creativity in students.
- Classroom Expertise: Experience leading art classrooms where students actively engage in creating, critiquing, and appreciating art.
- Commitment to Equity: Dedication to empowering students of color and fostering an anti-racist learning environment.
- Advocate for Diversity: Incorporation of diverse artistic traditions and cultural perspectives into teaching to inspire and engage students.
- Proven Track Record: Teaching leading to measurable student growth in artistic skills and creative thinking.
Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in teaching a variety of art forms and mediums.
- Eligibility to work full-time in the U.S.
- Active Illinois Teaching License preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensations range is $60,750-$85,000. Noble offers a predictable salary schedule for teachers and thoughtful employee benefits designed to support our commitment to excellence and equity.
