About the role
Fairmount School (.7) and Fourteenth Street School (.3) are seeking an Art Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Evidence of interaction with children that is nurturing and produces high quality work.
- Demonstrate commitment to frequent parent contact and parent education.
- Demonstrate evidence of collegial planning and program implementation.
- Demonstrate success working with children with special needs in regular education classrooms.
- Demonstrate success using Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
- Demonstrate success in using a wide variety of materials, techniques, and processes with elementary students.
- Evidence of ability to integrate PK-3 math and ELA standards into weekly art lessons.
Requirements
Appropriate certification from the State of Maine required.
