About the role
The successful candidate will plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students under the direction of the school principal. Responsibilities include instructing and supervising students in various settings, monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, and collaborating with school administrators, other teachers, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment, both in-person and virtually.
- Maintains complete and accurate student academic, attendance, and disciplinary records.
- Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents.
- Attends staff meetings and serves on various committees.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree, a Maryland Educator Certificate, or eligibility for one, and possession of a Maryland Educator License appropriate to the area of assignment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of principles and practices of pedagogy.
- Knowledge of curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
- Knowledge of and skill in data analysis.
- Knowledge of instructional materials and equipment.
- Ability to properly maintain confidential information.
Skills
Skills include the ability to instruct students, prepare and implement lesson plans, communicate with students, parents, administrators, and others, and use technology effectively.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $60,600 - $120,717 (Valid Until 12/31/2025) and $61,026 - $120,717 (Effective 1/1/2026).
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 10 months per year.
