Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Art courses (Studio Art, Illustration, Painting, Portfolio Development, Graphic & Fashion Design, Drawing, Photography, Digital Media, Animation, Art History, and Electives), following content standards—curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening through https://info.flclearinghouse.com/.
• Willing and able to teach digital art, cooking, painting, and other creative arts.
