Department 0100 - School of Medicine Position Information Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Minimum three years progressive administrative experience, preferably in an education setting.Experience interacting with students in a post-secondary setting, including larger groups of students and students under stress.Knowledge of specific terminology of the unit and program area.Ability to communicate effectively with others.Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with a wide variety of individuals, including but not limited to physicians and faculty, students, patients, standardized patients, and the general public.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong technical database skills. Position Details Position Purpose Reporting directly to the Director, Clinical Skills Training and Simulation, the SP Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Clinical Skills Center ( CSC ), located at the Troy campus of Beaumont Hospital. The coordinator will function as an initial point of contact for the CSC . The coordinator is responsible for administrative processes in the center including scheduling, purchasing, payroll, logistics, and record maintenance.
