Art Part-Time Elementary Teacher
About the role
A part-time position is available for an Art Teacher at Northport and Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion Elementary Schools. The position is on a 189-day calendar and the salary and benefits are based on the 2024-2025 Teacher Contract.
Responsibilities
- Teach art classes to students in grades K-5
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into the curriculum
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
Requirements
- Appropriate Minnesota teaching license
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience teaching art to elementary school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Passion for teaching and working with young children

- Proficiency in using technology in the classroom
