About the role
IHA Inc. seeks a full-time Art Installer, with the potential to learn project management. The primary responsibilities involve installing various types of art and equipment, including hanging pictures, mirrors, signage, window treatments, and wall protection systems. Additionally, the role includes project managing the installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), which involves overseeing movers and ensuring all FF&E is correctly placed.
Responsibilities
- Installing art and equipment such as pictures, mirrors, signage, window treatments, and wall protection systems.
- Project managing the installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Overseeing movers unloading trucks of FF&E and ensuring all FF&E is placed correctly.
- Working collaboratively and professionally with customers.
- Communicating effectively and patiently with customers.
- Unpacking, lifting, and controlling objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Working some long days and in construction settings.
Requirements
- Must be at least 26 years old.
- Willing/able to travel out of state 10-15 weekdays per month; weekends are rare.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally with customers.
- Proven excellent communication skills and patience.
- Physical ability to unpack, lift, and control objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Stamina to work some long days and in some construction settings.
- Possess valid WI driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Possess personal vehicle and insurance.
- Pass a background check, and post-offer physical & drug test.
- Live within 30-40 miles of New Berlin.
Qualifications
We prefer candidates who live within 30-40 miles of New Berlin. IHA offers holiday, vacation, and personal day pay, and a Health Reimbursement Account. Meals are covered while traveling and we provide mileage reimbursement. Our unique pay schedule and additional benefits can be discussed in person.
