ART & GRAPHICS

Responsibilities

• Create all original art, graphics, templates, flyers, and other Dream Con branding materials
• Cook up and communicate with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printer, and other Dream Con departments to fulfill graphic needs
• Fulfill 3rd party programming vendor graphics needs as advised
• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
• Aid and review the creation of new designs for future Dream Con merchandise
• Prepare finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
• Design and order onsite signage
• Other tasks as necessary

Requirements

• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software, etc.
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent eye for detail and visual composition
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a team setting
• Degree in Digital/Graphic design (Preferred not required)
