Art & Technology Combine artistic inspiration and 21st-century innovation in MPC’s one-of-a-kind program. Learn fabrication techniques and experiment with technology-based tools as well as traditional 2D and 3D art media. Art History Study society, culture, and the human psyche and through the lens of art in MPC’s Art History program. Explore works from across cultures and geographic boundaries and gain critical thinking skills suitable for a wide range of careers. Art Photography Use your camera to communicate meaning. Study the interplay of light, depth of field, and motion and practice new skills in locales with historic importance to the photographic arts. Ceramics & Glass MPC’s Ceramics program offers hands-on experience with clay, wheel, and kiln, as well as exploration of glaze techniques. Gain the skills to launch a multi-dimensional career. Dance Learn to use your body as a medium of artistic expression in MPC’s Dance program. Choreograph, practice, perform, and learn the principles and concepts underpinning the art form. Graphic Arts Graphic artists use their skills to inform, entertain and persuade. Their work takes many forms – from graphic novels and website animations to logos and printed posters. Learn the artistic principles and modern-day tools you need for the trade. Jewelry & Metal Arts Transform metal and gems into works of art, tools and more in MPC’s Jewelry and Metal Arts program. Learn historical and modern skills and graduate with a body of work to launch a commercial career. Music Practice and perform while learning theory, technique, composition and interpretation. Ground your passion in formal learning and create a musical career pathway. Studio Arts Artists not only create unique objects and experiences; they also contribute to a dialog with other creators, past and present. At MPC you’ll do both, building competence in visual language while practicing technique in painting, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Theatre Arts Pursue your passion in MPC's Theatre Arts Program. Alongside rigorous academic study and coursework, Theatre Arts students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of live productions of plays and musicals from multiple viewpoints in performance, creative, and technical aspects.
