Art Framer

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Art/Picture Framing Specialist to work on a contract basis. This role involves preparing and installing artwork and decorative items for display in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut matting and framing materials to fit specified artwork dimensions
• Assemble and install frames, ensuring secure and aesthetically pleasing presentation
• Consult with customers to determine framing preferences and requirements
• Maintain inventory of framing supplies and materials
• Follow safety protocols when handling tools and materials

Qualifications

• Experience in art or picture framing with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using framing tools such as mat cutters and miter saws
• Ability to interpret customer specifications for custom framing solutions
• Knowledge of different framing materials and their applications
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
