Art Department Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
- Identifies and eliminates obstacles to productivity for individual Artists, including technical, workflow or interpersonal issues.
- Contributes to productivity through artwork creation and assisting the Artists in their job functions.
- Creates and maintains the tools, templates and procedures used by the Artists.
- Maintains a library of sketch creation assets, including templates, purchased stock assets and fonts.
- Acts as the point-of-contact for questions or issues from Sales.
- Researches new technologies, software or design concepts and presents to Marketing Director for review.
- Special projects as directed by the Director of Marketing.
Requirements
- Team leading skills.
- Building a strong knowledge of company products and options.
- Skilled in using graphic design software such as the Adobe and Corel suites.

Education/Experience
- High School diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree (Desired).
- Previous Supervisory experience (Desired).
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Artist.
- 1-3 years of demonstrated high level data entry and customer service experience.
- Able to manage multiple projects to completion.
- Goal-oriented, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical products quickly or technical aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written skillsets and ability to communicate with multiple departments.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with a Customer Relationship Management Database (CRM).
- Experience with Sales Force CRM (Desired).
Job Location
The location of this job is in our Sarasota, Florida office.
Work Environment
This position is in a climate-controlled office environment. The office environment is a typical office with equipment noise i.e., computers, printers, phones, etc. and may involve frequent interruptions.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
