About the role

In this full-time position, you will understand and apply Army Medical Department regulations and requirements to ensure the effective recruitment of qualified medical professionals into the U.S. Army. A critical part of this responsibility includes a thorough understanding of the Health Professions Scholarship Program to effectively guide potential candidates. You will recruit highly qualified healthcare professionals for the Army in all six Army Medical Department Corps:

  • Army Medical Specialist Corps
  • Dental Corps
  • Medical Corps
  • Medical Service Corps
  • Nurse Corps
  • Veterinary Corps

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to potential applicants, provide detailed information about opportunities within the Medical Corps, and prequalify them based on the criteria outlined in the contract.
  • Ensure all interactions and processes meet the Service Level Agreement requirements as specified in the contract, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Understand and stay updated on all Army Medical Department regulations, requirements, the Health Professions Scholarship Program, and mission contract needs, ensuring efforts align with evolving standards and objectives of the recruiting mission.
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the applicant process by providing immediate responses to telephone and email inquiries, ensuring no delays in communication.
  • Receive and accurately distribute leads to the appropriate Army Medical Department recruiter, facilitating a seamless transition for applicants moving through the recruitment process.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the Army Medical Department's applicant pipeline, directly impacting the success of Army Medical Recruiting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a background check
  • Eligibility to obtain a Government Common Access Card
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Experience in U.S. Army Army Medical Department recruiting is preferred
  • Veterans will receive preferential hiring consideration
