Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Michigan Teaching Certificate with at least one of the following endorsements:
- Integrated Science (DI)
- Science (DX) or (DQ)
- Physical Science (DP)
- Earth Science (DH) or (IH)
- Biology (DA)
- Chemistry (DC) or (IC)
- Physics (DE) or (IE)
- ZC & ZK middle level “all subjects” endorsements will also be considered
Responsibilities
- Use creative instructional strategies and best practices to promote interactive learning and student engagement through technology, literature, and writing
- Aid in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Science curriculum
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans
- Incorate practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner
- Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions
- Utilize progress monitoring
- Monitor and evaluate student development and growth through a variety of assessments
- Maintain accurate student classroom records
This position reports to the Building Principal.
