About the role

Shield's Business Solutions of Moorestown, NJ is looking to hire a full-time Armored Car Guard and Crew Leaders. This position offers a potential for overtime and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), life insurance, free training, fully paid fees for permits, and company issued uniforms with bullet-resistant vests.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the safe transportation of coins, currency, and other valuables via armored vehicles to and from clients' locations.
• Drive safely by being attentive and carefully following designated routes.
• Stay in close communication with the dispatch team about any issues or events.
• Load and unload cargo consisting of multiple bags of coins weighing as much as 50 lbs. each.
• Keep necessary paperwork up-to-date and accurate.
• Exercise sound judgment during tense situations and take personal pride in presenting a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to complete all Department of Transportation requirements
• Ownership of or willingness to obtain a firearm (Required for Crew Leader position)
• Possession of a valid firearm permit OR the ability to pass applicable firearm licensing requirements (NJ OR PA Carry Permit Required for Crew Leader Position)
• Ability to obtain a PA Act 235F card (Required for crew leader position)
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Work Schedules

Full-time armored transportation positions are 1st shift. Routes start from 6:00 AM 9:00AM. Monday through Saturday. You must be willing to work overtime as needed. There is not a hard stop for the day. The day is over when all scheduled stops are complete. Shields Drivers and Crew Leaders are scheduled four (4) or five (5) days per work week Monday through Saturday. Work schedules are posted the week prior.
