Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete daily general office and administrative duties
  • Oversee the collection of required insurance co-payments and patient registration, as well as document and reconcile daily schedule
  • Provide outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote a positive patient experience
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor incoming phone calls and clinic visitors to ensure accurate, timely, and positive clinic communication, facilitation, and presentation

Qualifications/Skills

  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of experience in a medical office, customer service, or other similar business setting preferred
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment

Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
