Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete daily general office and administrative duties
- Oversee the collection of required insurance co-payments and patient registration, as well as document and reconcile daily schedule
- Provide outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote a positive patient experience
- Verify insurance benefits
- Maintain accurate records and monitor incoming phone calls and clinic visitors to ensure accurate, timely, and positive clinic communication, facilitation, and presentation
Qualifications/Skills
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of experience in a medical office, customer service, or other similar business setting preferred
- Effective and professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment
