About the role

Loomis armored transportation operates a network of nearly 200 branches, cash‑management centers, and vaults that keep cash flowing for financial institutions and retail businesses across the United States. The company emphasizes career advancement, with many managers, vice presidents, and executives having started as driver‑guards or tellers. The Armed Vault Teller (PM) position involves receiving, verifying, sorting, dispersing, and accounting for vault cargo items.

Shift

1:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Compensation

Hourly hiring rate: $20 USD.
Sign‑on bonus: $1,500 for candidates who hold a valid OPOTA Certificate.

Essential Job Functions

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and/or change shipments against receipts or provided listings.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, and sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load and unload wagons or flat‑bed carts with bags/boxes of coin weighing an average of 50 lb per item.
• Load and unload buggies containing bags of currency/checks weighing an average of 50 lb per item.
• Sort individual cargo items by route.
• Communicate verbally with co‑workers and customers via telephone.

Performance Requirements

• Unrestricted ability to repetitively bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach out.
• Ability to lift items averaging 50 lb from floor level to a ~4‑foot‑high countertop repeatedly.
• Ability to maintain a stooped or squatting position for several minutes while sorting.
• Ability to walk continuously between bins, vaults, booths, and counters.
• Ability to stand on concrete floor for approximately 80 % of the shift.
• Ability to sign and record numbers by hand, make entries on records, and prepare reports.
• Ability to count, add, subtract, and balance columns of numbers.
