Armed Site Supervisor - Mount Pleasant, SC

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of all shifts and Security Officers on duty.
• Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Specific and General Post instructions for assigned post(s).
• Possess practical knowledge of additional and emergency post instructions as required by the client.
• Patrol assigned post by walking or using a company-provided vehicle where applicable.
• Conduct inspections of Post and Security Officers to ensure compliance with Post Orders, Walden Security procedures, and general post assignment knowledge.
• Report urgent matters or issues to the Post Supervisor, Roving or Field Supervisors, and the Operations Manager.
• Record daily post events on Officers Daily Reports (ODR) for review by supervisors and management.
• Register at watch stations to record inspection times and contracted random inspections.
• Assist in on-the-job training for newly assigned Security Officers as needed.
• Respond to urgent client needs or requests for service changes.
• Notify appropriate authorities (supervisors, police, fire department, client) of emergencies or post order violations.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security at assigned posts.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying forbidden articles) and expel individuals engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Minimum of 3 years of security officer experience.

Receives general direction from the Post Supervisor, Roving or Field Supervisors, or Operations Manager. Exercises direct supervision over 1-15 Security Officers and Shift Supervisors. Provides operational input to management regarding post status and Security Officers.

Pay

$19.50 USD per hour.
