About the role

As a full-time Armed Security Officer Government Patrol in Los Angeles County, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in government and other industries. You will maintain a secure environment by conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public and staff, and responding to security-related situations. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in active roles and are dedicated to upholding integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders following established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents and daily activities as required.
• Use proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
• Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
• Be ready to fill in at short notice for urgent needs.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Availability across various days and shifts.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Must be armed and have a clean background and driving record.

Pay

$26.81 per hour.
