Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and/or other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or receiving zones to help support access control, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior.
• Assist with de-escalation, provide visible presence during business hours, and/or support closing and opening procedures in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
