About the role
Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a vital utilities location in San Antonio, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and help to identify suspicious behavior, restricted-area violations, and/or policy issues.
- Support emergency and incident response by communicating with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal teams, helping to protect people, property, and critical infrastructure during changing conditions.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.74 / hour

- Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
