Armed Security Officer - Residential Mobile Patrol Driver
About the role
As an Armed Security Officer - Residential Mobile Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will support residents and visitors through clear communication and exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, caring, and integrity-driven team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and document unusual conditions or incidents.
- Maintain required firearms qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay and Schedule
Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time - Monday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Thursday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Friday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
